I created this little tool because I got board of having to type in all the book references I used in my Uni papers over and over again. You have these 2-3 books you use all the time and you have to copy and paste the references. And if you use a book you have to type in all the Authors, Title, Publisher and so on. So I though amazon has all this data why can't they do it for me. Out of this idea dbook was created. It is not very advanced(*jet*), thanks to all the other work mainly exams at uni.
So dbook can mainly get data from Amazon and create bibtex files. Further it can check if an isbn 10 and 13 number are correct.
So check it out : http://sourceforge.net/projects/dbook/
You might want to have a look at zebra too. Really nice stuff you can do with a webcam.
